Hibiscus Flowers Surf Fin Art Linocut Print by Tems.
Imagine yourself on a surf trip to a tropical island paradise and somewhere in that vision, I’m almost certain thoughts of tropical flowers will pop into your head. Along with the beautiful frangipanis, the stunning hibiscus flowers conjure up thoughts of Hawaii and surf culture and that was the inspiration behind this Hibiscus Flowers Fin.
This surf fin art linocut image has been printed using Black Cranfield Caligo Oil Based Relief Ink on Ivory White Acid Free Archival Japanese Simili Paper (80g/m2).

The linoprint that you’ll receive will be almost identical, although there will be some very slight differences.
Each print is individually created from the linocut, so there will be minor variations in each print.
This process means that each piece of surf fin artwork is unique and original, not just a repeated digitally printed image.
Carve Fin Art watermarks have been used for the purpose of protecting the online image and do not appear on the product itself.
Only the surf fin shaped linoprint design and pencil signature appear on the actual print.
*Paper is cut down to size by hand and may vary in size by 1/2mm.
** The print should not be placed so that it’s directly touching the glass, as over time, this may cause damage to the print. Therefore, when using an A4 frame, spacers should be used to keep the print from touching the glass.

Creating artwork and surfing helps me to manage issues that I experience with my mental health. Please take a moment to check out The Wave Project, an amazing charity that I’ve volunteered for, which helps young people to reduce anxiety and improve confidence through surfing.
