Are you looking for wholesale surf art? If you answered ‘yes’, then please let me introduce myself.

My name is Tom Metcalf and I’m the artist behind Carve Fin Art, a series of linocut surf fin art prints.

I’m a keen surfer and artist, based in Devon, UK

I make bold and striking linocut surf fin prints, inspired by traditional surf culture, for people whose idea of paradise is being on a tropical island with long white sandy beaches, where they can relax under the shade of a tall palm tree, while watching wave after perfect wave roll by…

I chose to use the surf fin as the basis for my artwork, as it symbolises stability, control and drive, which are all important characteristics to me.

The inspiration for my surf fin art comes from my love for surfing and the positive effect that spending time surrounded by nature has on both physical and mental wellbeing.

Thank you for taking the time to look at and consider my work, I hope you like it and if you do, then I hopefully look forward to working with you and building a successful partnership that works well for both of us, long in to the future…

If you're a shop, boutique or gallery, that serves the surf culture market, then I'd love to hear from you...

It’d be great if we were able to work together, to provide your customers/clientele with the perfect piece of art, so that when they gaze upon it, hanging on their living room wall, after returning from a long day at work, it transports them to a tropical paradise.

My art is designed to fill them with feelings of stoke, while fond memories run wildly through their minds. Flashbacks to the time they were bobbing around gently on the sea after catching their best wave ever, or of drinking the juice from a fresh coconut, while lying in a hammock tied between two palms.

My current collection of prints are all bold black images, designed to have a simple yet striking presence.

All of my designs are handprinted linocuts, using high quality inks on archival paper, mounted using conservation matboard, so that with the right care, they will look as good in many years time as they do right now.
